An eLearning scholarship for students with outstanding achievements in sports, music and creative arts
 
 

What is eTalentship
 
It is a scholarship offered by Ontario eSchool to Hong Kong senior form studentswho excel in sports, music and creative arts.This has also met with our founder’s mission to provide an alternate platform for students who look for flexible learning, like youth athletes and musicians.
 
Objectives of eTalentship
 
  • To promote OSSD as an alternate option besides HKDSE, IB Diploma & GCE A Level for senior form talented students
  • To work hand-in hand with the Consulate and Canadian Business Community to further promote Canadian quality education to HK elite students
  • To promote the diverse culture of Canada and its appreciation towards all-rounded development
  • To show support and recognition to talented students on their diligence and perseverance
  • To offer solutions to their possible learning difficulties and confinement
  • To offer a self-paced and flexible learning platform to cater for students’ needs
 
Why Talented Students
 
Talented students have always encountered difficulties in normal classroom learning due to frequent trainings and competitions. With frustration, they receive little support and help from the community. To their dismay, some have to make a choice between academic and professional advancement.To cater for their needs, a flexible and recognized learning platform is a solution to these elites.
 
Eligibility & Screening
 
To be eligible for the eTalentship scholarship scheme, applicants must have
  1. attained F.4-F.6 or equivalent level of education;
  2. demonstrated exceptional performances in sports, music and creative arts;
  3. nominated by their coaches, teachers, mentors, relevant associations;
  4. ​submitted their application along with an under 3-minute self-introductory video outlining their aspiration and area of excellence.
